30. There’s a major renovation at my neighbor’s house. I’ve been suffering from unbearable noise pollution and dust pollution that is causing allergy on my skin. Their weird design at the backyard has a huge wall that blocked my vision of the other side of my neighborhood and it reflects HUGE amount of light into my kitchen. They knocked a corner out of my wall and do not intend to fix it back, now there’s a piece of concrete hanging outside my kitchen window. Their contractor who is never considerate always park his car RIGHT OUTSIDE my gate, that always get on my dad’s nerves. GRrrrr….

My first pinhole camera experiment. My exposure time wasn’t long enough.. only 5 photos were developed out from the whole roll of film ….

Taken with Kodak 400

26. experimented with different exposure time from 10 seconds to 30seconds. Picture above was taken with 30 seconds exposure time.

27. Taken in a cafe with about 10 seconds exposure if not remembered wrongly …. I like the light leak effect ;)

28. Sunset at my neighborhood. Taken with 2 seconds exposure time.

29. My house. Exposure time 2 seconds.

Summer random act: Homemade Pinhole Camera

One toilet roll, One film, one film canister, one small piece of aluminum, one small hole and lots of black duct tape formed a homemade pinhole camera.

I know it looks ugly but as long as it works hahah!!! will make it look more aesthetically nice next time.

I tried scanning the film negative with my home scanner …. fail!  hahah!!

See the next post for better result.

I know its boring to say this but its so true that time flies really fast. This cactus was given by my juniors as a “retirement” gift from the orchestra committee member in year 2006. Can you believe it? it’s already been 5 years !!!

Although the cactus had died but the spirit never dies !!! I do miss the happy moments I had in the orchestra during high school. =)

Hey! It’s been a long time since I updated this blog… I did not abandon this space… just needed a break from everything. One year has passed and it wasn’t a good year for me, but nevertheless, I’m now back at home. Nothing can be better than being at home. I will leave all the sh*t in the other land and hopefully things will get better in the coming year. I am still continuing my 1000 photos goal, though I think that it will take forever… Today, I took some snapshots from my backyard on a beautiful Sunday.

WIP Printmaking New Experience

It’s been awhile since my last post… I was really busy with my school work.

Year 1 has finally ended. Hopefully I will be able to do a review on my first year experience.

As the start of my first summer break, I joined a printmaking workshop and I’m working on a linocut print right now ;) yes, its a sunflower.

Carve carve all the way ~

Have a good summer !

WIP Poster Booklet design

A1 size reflection on book design subject in a poster booklet form. It can be read as a booklet with pages and the other side is a full poster when open up. Was struggling in getting the layout done … and I’ve been working on it for one whole day. One full poster and a conclusion to go. Keep my fingers cross when printing, folding and presenting it on Monday.

I’m dead tired right now. Someone talk to me ! It’s 5.35 am in the morning.
